For this piece, I was inspired by the powerful energy of the huge earthquake (magnitude 9.0) that hit Japan in 2011.
The word “dragon” is often used in general calligraphy works, but it was only treated as “dragon”. However, since Chinese characters are symbols and the concept of dragons is also symbolic, I thought it would bring out something else.
